Back in the saddle again

The house is done, almost.  I still have a wee bit of painting to do in the hallway upstairs.  We have bought the fabric for redoing some of the family room furniture, but I haven't completed the task of deciding who is doing that little job.

Due to the long process of rebuilding our house after the crazy leak fiasco (see previous posts), my writing took a big hit.

I will be presenting my book to 3 publishers at the end of July and have another publisher who wants to look at it, in it's entirety .

With all that said, I'm writing this post to let you know I am officially going into hibernation in my office, at my computer.  I will be writing as much as humanly possible from now until the end of July....actually for the foreseeable future.

While working on the house, I've been able to use my iPhone, which I hate, to keep track of ideas, thoughts, inspiration, etc.  The iPhone does have a wee purpose after all.

I feel strongly that the Lord has put His hands on my book.  I have an important story to tell about grief, compassion and unity through the eyes of some awesome, strong women.  I ask your prayers, that God will be praised in all I write.

All that being said, if you want to go to the movies, don't invite me.  If you want to go out to dinner or lunch, except on Sundays, don't ask me.  If you want to go shopping, for anything, don't ask me.  I will not be available until this complete.  Don't tempt me either.  Don't lure me away with tales of fanciful food and lovely home goods.

My  mother in law is having surgery on the 12th, so I will have to stop for that.   And please do add Hazel to your prayer lists.  We want the remainder of her years, here on this earth to be fully of quality of life.

Also please pray for my sweet wee cousin Hannah, who will be graduating in a few weeks.  We will be hosting a graduation party for her, here at our house.  Her party is the one and only on our calendar.  That should tell you how important she is to me!

Peace be with you.
